Frith Lodge sits in a beautifully remote location above Keld in Upper Swaledale. Accessible only with a 4x4 or on foot
(our track is just short of a mile so we can arrange pick up/drop off from the roadside).
Frith Lodge has been completely renovated and refurbished to a high standard whilst retaining it's character of a traditional Dales farmhouse.
The house sleeps 10 in 5 en suite bedrooms (3 Doubles and 2 Twins). The large dining room table means everyone can sit comfortably together to
share meals and the cosy lounge has a wood burner perfect for those colder winter days.
We can be on hand to help with transport up and down the track if you do not have a suitable vehicle.
We can arrange for grocery supplies to be here, and arrange evening meals, either prepared for you to pop in the oven and serve or we can come in,
cook, serve and clear away for you. Just let us know your requirements and we’ll do our very best to accommodate them!
There are plenty of walks to take straight from the door, the fabulous Keld
to Muker loop with lunch at the Farmers Arms, or walk to the home of TV’s Yorkshire
Shepherdess at Ravenseat via Great Britain’s highest pub the Tan Hill Inn.
If walking is not for your party then why not take the car over to Hawes via the Buttertubs Pass, route of the Grand Depart of the Tour de France.
Visit the Yorkshire Dales Countryside Museum and the Wensleydale Creamery and it’s wonderful tasting room.
There is plenty to do here and we can give you lots of ideas, you can of course just kick back and relax in idyllic isolation.
